STACK SWITCHES AND COMPONENTS: Custom manufactured in most standard configurations at prices competitive with, or lower than, stock switches. Spring Leaf Materials include spring temper nickel silver and phosphor bronze as standard materials. Beryllium copper, spring steel, stainless steel and nickel alloys are also available. Thicknesses range from .004"to .062". Contact Materials are available in diameters of .078" to .312" in fine silver of silver alloys. Cross bar contacts of palladium, silver palladium or gold alloys are available for low energy or dry circuit applications. Stakes can be specified flat, radius or point. Rivet head contacts are staked into blade holes and can be placed at any point on the blade length. Staked shank can be utilized as double headed contact. Lifters are made of nylon, but fiber or other materials are available upon request. Standard lifter diameters are 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4". Lifter lengths are 1/16" to 7/17" in 1/32" increments. Spacers grade XP paper base Bakelite in thicknesses of .031" to .093" in 1/64" increments. Materials for high temperature applications such as fiber glass and ceramic are available. Designs requiring longer high voltage surface creep path should utilize both large and standard size spacers. Tubing is rigid vinyl material, but Bakelite and high temperature tubing are also available. Tubing passes #5 and #6 screws for 3/8" center mounting, #3 and #4 screws for a 1/4" center mounting and #2 screws for a 3/16" center mounting. Cam Followers are available as formed leafs, molded plastic or as rollers in a variety of diameters. Standard material for rollers in nylon, but plated steel or brass rollers are available. Insulating Leafs of Mylar or fish paper can be punched as switch leaf shape. Thicknesses are .005" to .020". Insulating leafs of thicknesses of .031" or greater are made of Bakelite. Terminals which include solder, quick connect and printed circuit terminals can be provided at any specified standard position. |
